Paul Weller Tribute White w/ Black 1995 Rickenbacker 330 "THE TOTAL LOOK"
Paul Weller had a late 70's white Rickenbacker 330 he played during the late Jam period, most widely recognized from the "Top of The Pops" TV show where the Jam played their No. 1 single Town Called Malice from their 1982 album, The Gift. Weller ended up later giving the guitar to Noel Gallagher (of Oasis) who still has it to this day. White Rickenbacker 330s from the late 70's/early 80's are about as rare as hens teeth. So, when I saw this hard to find mid-90's model, I pounced. With a little effort, I outfitted it just like Weller's original model, complete with pink "P" in between the pickups (a kind bloke over in England sent it to me), and a ""THE TOTAL LOOK!" sticker on the upper horn. This guitar is absolutely gorgeous and solid as Rickenbackers come. Comes complete with all the original parts (e.g., black Hi Gain pickups, black R tailpiece, and black Schaller tuners), even including a dried red rose in the F hole, just like Weller's. $3500
